3. Targeting your niche
PPC Advertising on LinkedIn enables you to target your niche with your advertising. So, if you want to advertise only to Accountants in Portsmouth, or HR Managers in London, then you can do so and because it is PPC, if it does not work, you do not pay!
4. Winning referrals
Referrals and testimonials are essential to business success and there is no place better than LinkedIn for providing you with an on-going stream of referrals. All you have got to do is to ask the people on LinkedIn who know you, like you and trust you, to take one step further and recommend you.
5. Creating leads and sales
Put simply, people how use LinkedIn correctly win business on it and people who are on LinkedIn, but don’t really use it don’t win business on it. Sorry to be simplistic, but that is the way LinkedIn works.
6. Growing your database
How much is your business worth? Would it be worth more if you had a larger database of people who you are in regular contact with and whom you know? The answer is YES. One of the criteria used to evaluate the value of a business is the size and responsiveness of its database.
7. Improving brand awareness
I often say that brand awareness is best left to corporates and that it is a code word/excuse for not creating leads. Having said that I have over 3,000 contacts on LinkedIn who all know me and one of my PPC Adverts was viewed by 389,000 people for only £18. Something to think about.
